STANDING SEPARATE LEGS HEAD TO KNEE POSE

Dandayamana – Bibhaktapada – Janushirasana

Standing separate leg head to knee pose strengthens the abdominal muscles, waist and hips, buttocks and thighs.

It compresses and thereby massages the thyroid gland, which helps regulate metabolism and imunitions system. It works with the pancreas and kidneys at the same time (pancreas compression, kidney stretching), which is excellent for the digestive system, endocrine system (gland system with internal secretion) and overall metabolism. It also acts on the pituitary gland, which is again good for metabolism.

This position has a positive effect against depression, memory loss, obesity, diabetes and thyroid enlargement. Maintains proper blood sugar levels.
