Dandayamana - Bibhaktapada - Paschimotanasana


In the stretch position in the spread, the sciatic nerve is strengthened and stretched, thus eliminating problems associated with it (such as inflammation).

It also helps the proper functioning of the intestines (large and small), stomach (helps against increased production of gastric juices - heartburn), kidneys and spleen, helps with constipation and obesity.

Strengthens and stretches the muscles of the thighs and calves. Increases flexibility of ankles, hips, lower back and hips.

It is beneficial against depression and memory loss.

The forward position of the chin increases circulation and improves blood flow to the brain.

Pulling in the abdomen strengthens the diaphragm.
