Tuladandasana
The balancing stick pose improves self-control,
and balance. This improves physical as well as mental fitness.
It stimulates blood circulation, strengthens the heart muscle and increases lung capacity. Stimulates the cardiovascular system. During the posture the heart is lower than the head and this cleanses the deposits in the blood vessels and is thus an excellent prevention against possible heart disease.
It relieves tension in the spine and helps against varicose veins.
It is one of the best exercises to improve poor posture.
