DECLARATION CONCERNING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA FOR CUSTOMERS 

  

1. Who is responsible for your personal data?

This Declaration concerning the protection of personal data applies to the personal data of BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE´s customers, that means of the company BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE s.r.o., ID no.: 27432777, with its registered office in Prague 1 - Staré Město, Karolíny Světlé 301/8, PSČ 11000, registered by the City Court in Prague (Městský soud v Praze) under ref. no. C 112382 (hereinafter “BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE”). If you provide BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE with your personal data we may become administrator of your personal data.  

 

2. Personal data that we collect 

“Personal data” in this Declaration concerning the protection of personal data mean any information which relate to your person and which enable us to identify you either directly or in combination with other information which we might have at disposal. We get this information directly from you. We can collect the following personal data: 

•Your name and other identifiers (such as academic title, surname, name and other names, mailing address, email, phone numbers); 

•Your birth date;

•Information about your purchases from BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE and information concerning your preferences with specific types of services; 

•Information related to your debit or credit card;

•Communication between you and our company (such as emails, letters, phone calls or contributions, comments and posts provided by you to social media); 

•Information on how you use our website or mobile application; 

•Information about the use of our website by means of cookies or similar identifiers. Cookies are tiny information stored by the browser on your computer's hard drive. They help to navigate you to our website and enable us to offer you functions such as keeping you logged to our website. You may set up your browser so that no cookies are accepted. However, be aware that it might affect your ability to use services we provide.

•Data about your movement recorded by our camera system installed in the studio and at the entrance of the studio.

  

3. How and why we use personal data that we collect

We use your personal data for the following purposes: 

•To execute your order. 

When you place your order e.g. purchase yoga lessons, we use your personal data to process the order. We may contact you by email, SMS message or phone call in order to send you confirmation of the order, of payment receipt and of the actual status of your order. Thus we fulfill our contractual obligations towards you.  

•To provide services. 

When you enter a lesson, workshop or another event we use your personal data in order to provide our services. We again fulfill our contractual obligations towards you.  

•To inform you about our services and offers which you might like.  

If you have already ordered any services or products from us in the past you may be informed about our products and offers by email. We may use your data which we have at disposal (including history of your purchases) to create an idea of your preferences, in order to send you information about services and offers specifically tailored to you. On the basis of the information we have about you, advertisements connected with BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE products and services may appear when you are browsing the internet. Thus we proceed on the basis of our legitimate interest in effective offering of our services. If you do not want to receive our marketing messages e.g. emails, please contact us. If you communicate with BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE by publishing posts and comments on social media, we may use your personal data included in these contributions. 

•To improve our services, to meet our administrative goals and to protect our business interests.

Business purposes for which we will use your personal data include bookkeeping, invoicing, security and legal purposes, statistic and marketing analyses, system testing, maintenance and development. This includes the use of your personal information to meet our legal obligations, such as the obligation to keep records for tax and auditing purposes. If there is no particular legal obligation we should fulfill, we process the personal data to meet our legitimate interests while managing our business activity and ensuring accuracy and validity of our records.

•To protect your health and property 

In order to protect your health as well as the property of yours, ours and third parties, we have a camera system installed in our studio that records movement of people in these areas. Thus we protect your health as well as the property of yours, ours and of third persons. 

If you have any objections to the use of your personal data for the purposes mentioned above, please contact us. Although your decision to provide BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE with your personal data is generally voluntary, in case you do not provide any information, BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE may not be able to meet some of the goals set out in this Declaration concerning the protection of personal data. E.g. if we do not know your email or mailing address we cannot offer you new services.  

 

4. How can we share or transfer collected data 

We can share your personal data with: 

•Suppliers who provide us with their services to help us run our business and improve our services and customers` experience, and 

•Governmental bodies.

We will share the data solely for the abovementioned purposes and according to our legal obligations. 

BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE uses adequate safety measures to protect personal data. The providers of our email systems, IT system support and maintenance have standard contractual clauses for sufficient protection of your personal data. 5. How long we store your personal data? 

BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE will keep the information about order processing for 10 years.    BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE may process your personal data if you are active with BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE. For decision making on how long we keep your personal data after you stop being active with BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE, we will take in account all permanent obligations which we might have, such as keeping information for bookkeeping, or the time needed to open or defend our eventual legal claims. If you wish to know detailed time limits, please contact us. Processing your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, including activities related to your profile, will be terminated if you have objections to such processing and if you tell us that you do not wish BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE to process your personal data for direct marketing. We will also not process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing in case you gave your consent with such processing in the past, and you withdraw it later. 

 

6. Your rights

You have right to demand access to the personal data we keep about you, and correction of all inaccuracies concerning your personal data. You have also right to limit processing of your personal data, transfer of your personal data to another administrator, or have them deleted in cases when it is not legally prescribed for BIKRAM YOGA PRAGUE to further process your personal data.  

 

If you have any problem or claim related to the form of processing your personal data, please contact us. If we fail to solve the problem, you may contact the local body supervising the personal data protection.

We may regularly change this Declaration concerning the protection of personal data. Every new version of this Declaration concerning the protection of personal data will be published on our website www.bikramyoga.cz/en/personal-data-protection/.
