Michal first discovered Bikram Yoga in spring 2006 in Sydney, Australia, where he studied Multimedia. This form of Hatha yoga he liked immediately and began to exercise regularly. In the autumn of that year, when he returned to Prague, his first steps led to the newly opened Bikram Yoga studio. After several months of intensive training, he left Prague to attend Bikram yoga teacher training in Hawaii. Since returning in June 2007, Michal has been teaching in our studio in Prague.
- Favorite Posture
- My favorite posture of the beginner series is the standing bow posture. It‛s a very strong posture that combines the three important aspects of yoga: strength, flexibility and balance. I love to watch other yogis and students improve their execution of it.
- Least Favorite Posture
- My least favorite posture is the Half Moon, for my body structure it is very difficult posture. Since it is the first posture of the series, my back muscles still resists and my backbone is just starting to strech out.
